Man
is born to serve his fellowmen and the humanity in distress.
Every activist of the SFSH is a committed person and striving
hard for the uplift of humanity. As it is universally known that
Balochistan in general and Chaghi in particular is called as the
‘House of Minerals’
all over the world. It has also become famous for the first
atomic experiment by Pakistan in June1999. Having such rich
resources, we can add a bountiful of income that could not only
alleviate poverty but could mitigate from its roots. But, we
could not consider to educate the populace of the area in
mineral technology. Balochistan has no such technical institute
or college that imparts education in this particular field.
Realizing
the priority need, the SFSH is determined to establish ‘Mineralogical
Science and Technology Institute’ at Chaghi as a pilot
project that would be replicated in other parts of Balochistan
and the country, helping to enhance education, vocational
expertise and mitigate deprivation from the people tending to
sedition and rabble-rising.
The
SFSH also realizes that the women sector that forms nearly 50%
of the total population has totally been ignored in decision
making and their active participation in developmental
activities that resulted in increase of poverty in spite of
having high resources. The SFSH is taking steps for formal and
informal education in all spheres of education and vocations. We
understand; though this is a hectic task but we are determined
to empower women and save children from being deteriorated.
Primarily, the SFSH has started literacy added vocational
training in folk art & craft for women at Nokundi having no
educational and constructive facilities, the youth of
Balochistan in particular and the country in general is also
being destroyed due to lack of and high priced educational
facilities. Taking advantage, the evil-mongers are exploiting
and engaging them in anti-social like drug abuse, terrorist and
fanatic activities.
Though
the SFSH is providing its expertise, guidance, opinion and
platform to realize the role of youth in building our nation and
the country; yet we could derive the results by rural-urban
integration therefore collectively we dreamt of holding a 2-Day
First Youth Leadership Conference in Islamabad on the 27th
and 28th of November 2004 in Islamabad. 500 participants
are expected to attend the Conference including 250 youth
(students) participants in the age group of 16–19 years. The
panel will form from among the ministers of relevant
ministries to directly interact with youth to promote
participatory and productive involvement of youth with the
panel. This would help in bringing out a constructive change in
the capacity building and in reducing disparity in educational
standards.
I
appeal to all those Human Lovers to come forward and share us in
our sincere efforts and endeavor to bring a delighting and
hopeful dawn for the deprived people of Balochistan and the
communities in other areas of the country, as well.
