Society
for the Service of Humanity (SFSH) started functioning formally
in the year 2003 with its priority object of services to
humanity, women empowerment, promotion of women and child
rights, educational promotion and poverty reduction activities.
Illiteracy particularly among women, and involvement of women in
development activities termed to be the top most agenda to
foster development at a speedy momentum to reduce rather
eliminate poverty from the country, which happens to be the root
cause in the promotion of terrorist activities.
SFSH
started its activities with the promotion of education through
computer literacy from nursery classes to strengthen the
foundation and to enlighten with the global changes to the
cropping up generation especially the girls with the global
changes. SFSH has established computer laboratories in 21
primary schools of Abbotabad and Rawalpindi districts
exclusively on self-help basis, in and planned to replicate its
experience throughout the country particularly Balochistan,
which happens to be the most backward area both socially and
educationally.
